In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hug Hawks basketball team scored a close 28-24 triumph over the Dayton Dust Devils.
The Hawks (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wooster (Reno, NV). The Colts go into the contest with a 3-3 record.
In their next game, the Dust Devils battle the Spring Creek Spartans (Spring Creek, NV) in a contest, on Friday, January 10. Dayton will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
