The Scott County Cardinals basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Lafayette Generals to 33 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Cardinals now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Western Hills for a non-league game on Monday, December 16.

With the loss, Lafayette falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Generals travel to West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to confront the Colts in a non-league game on Saturday, December 28. The Colts go into the game with a record of 0-0.
