The Chiefs (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Tularosa (Tularosa, NM). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Tularosa defeated Cloudcroft (Cloudcroft, NM), 35-19, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the Quemado Eagles (Quemado, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 19. Alamo Navajo will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 39-29 non-league win over Gateway Christian (Roswell, NM).
