In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Anderson Valley Panthers basketball team scored a good 43-28 triumph over the South Fork Cubs.
The Panthers (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against Round Valley (Covelo, CA). The Mustangs enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Round Valley knocked off Potter Valley (Potter Valley, CA), 61-12, in a non-league battle.
The Cubs now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Willits for a non-league battle on Thursday, December 19. South Fork will meet a Wolverines squad coming off a 57-19 league win over Roseland Collegiate Prep (Santa Rosa, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 5-2.
