In Saturday's league contest, the host Lakewood Rangers basketball team scored a good 45-31 win over the Buckeye Bucks.

The Rangers (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Avon (Avon, OH). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Avon defeated Elyria (Elyria, OH), 52-15, in a league contest.
