Texas High School Basketball - Gunter routs Leonard

In Saturday's league contest, the host Gunter Tigers basketball team scored a big 66-24 win over the Leonard Tigers.

The Tigers (15-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pottsboro (Pottsboro, TX). The Cardinals come into the 3A Region II District 11 contest with a 17-2 record. In their last contest, Pottsboro was trounced by North Lamar (Paris, TX), 46-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) in a 3A Region II District 11 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Leonard will attempt to better on its 12-8 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 52-51 league win over Blue Ridge (Blue Ridge, TX).
