Georgia High School Basketball - Savannah knocked off by Metter

In Saturday's league test, the Metter Tigers (Metter, GA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting Savannah Bluejackets (Savannah, GA), by a score of 50-40.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) in a A D2 Region 3 test, on Tuesday, December 17. Metter will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The War Eagles come into the test with a 0-8 record after their 61-5 non-league loss to Burke County (Waynesboro, GA).

The Bluejackets (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Mt. Zion (Jonesboro, GA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league test with a 2-7 record.
