The Tornadoes now hold a 8-4 record. They play next when they host East Central for a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 19. Purvis will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Vancleave (Vancleave, MS). The Hornets record now stands at 10-1.
With the loss, Greene County moves to 4-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Forrest County Agricultural (Brooklyn, MS) to encounter the Aggies in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 16. The Aggies go into the challenge with a record of 5-3.
