Virginia High School Basketball - James Wood bested by Clarke County

Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting James Wood Colonels (Winchester, VA), 44-28 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Clarke County advances its record to 1-3 on the year. The Eagles travel to Skyline (Front Royal, VA) to face the Hawks in a non-league match on Monday, December 16. The Hawks enter the match with a record of 4-0. Skyline won 67-49 in their recent non-league match against Warren County (Front Royal, VA)

The Colonels now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manassas Park for a non-league match on Tuesday, December 17. James Wood will face a Cougars squad coming off a 46-32 non-league loss to Rappahannock County (Washington, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-4.
