The Nevada Union Miners basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Colfax Falcons to 42 in the Miners non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Miners now have a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Ponderosa for a non-league game on Thursday, December 19. Nevada Union will confront a Bruins team coming off a 67-46 non-league win over Del Oro (Loomis, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Colfax falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Falcons host Western Sierra Collegiate Academy (Rocklin, CA) to confront the Wolves in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Wolves go into the game with a record of 1-6. Western Sierra Collegiate Academy lost 49-37 in their recent league game against Ripon Christian (Ripon, CA)
