Fans at Saturday's non-league battle between the Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) and the host Brawley Wildcats (Brawley, CA), saw Southwest EC's soccer squad hold off Brawley by a count of 2-1.

The Eagles (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Yuma (Yuma, AZ). The Criminals enter the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Yuma was edged by Scottsdale Christian Academy (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets (Blythe, CA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, December 17. Brawley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a 0-5 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to El Cajon Valley (El Cajon, CA).
