Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Bowie Bulldogs (Bowie, MD) and the visiting Anacostia Indians (Washington, DC), saw Bowie's basketball squad knock off Anacostia by a tally of 72-61.

With the victory, Bowie improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD) to play the Panthers in a Prince George's County 4A challenge on Friday, December 16. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 2-2. Parkdale lost 79-44 in their recent league challenge against Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD)

Next up, the Indians play the Cardozo Clerks (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A outing, on Friday, December 16. Anacostia will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Clerks go into the outing with a 1-2 record after their 71-48 league win over School Without Walls (Washington, DC).
