New Jersey High School Basketball - Buena overwhelmed by Mainland Regional

The Mainland Regional Mustangs basketball team scored 72 points and restricted the visiting Buena Chiefs to 34 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Mainland Regional will battle a Vikings team coming off a 41-39 non-league win over Shawnee (Medford, NJ). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.

The Chiefs (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Oakcrest (Mays Landing, NJ). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
