In Thursday's non-league match, the host Duke Tigers basketball team scored a good 54-35 triumph over the Canute Trojans.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the Blair Broncos (Blair, OK) in a Cottonbelt match, on Tuesday, January 3. Duke will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record.
With the defeat, Canute moves to 5-3 on the year. The Trojans travel to Fort Cobb-Broxton (Fort Cobb, OK) to meet the Mustangs in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 24. The Mustangs enter the match with a record of 8-0.
