The Merrill Vandals basketball team (Merrill, MI), was nudged 40-34 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI)

The Comets now possess a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shepherd for a non-league battle on Monday, December 19. Coleman will confront a Bluejays team coming off a 58-23 league win over Harrison (Harrison, MI). The Bluejays record now stands at 4-0.

The Vandals (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Fulton (Middleton, MI). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Fulton was nudged by Carson City-Crystal (Carson City, MI), 34-12, in a league battle.
