Forsyth Home Educators Hawks (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC), 69-59 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Forsyth Home Educators upgrades its record to 5-9 on the season. The Hawks host South Guilford HomeSchool (High Point, NC) to clash with the Cougars in a North Carolina Home Education - West bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 4-4. South Guilford HomeSchool won 53-40 in their recent non-league bout against Greater Vision Academy (Gibsonville, NC)

Next up, the Royals clash with the Leadership Academy Falcons (Kernersville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. College Prep & Leadership Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 63-58 league loss to Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC).
