Florida High School Basketball - Cottondale tops Franklin County

December 15, 2022: Cottondale, FL 32431

Cottondale Hornets (Cottondale, FL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Franklin County Seahawks (Eastpoint, FL), 48-36 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Cottondale upgrades its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Hornets host Arnold (Panama City Beach, FL) to play the Marlins in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Marlins come into the bout with a record of 4-4. Arnold won 92-48 in their recent non-league bout against Holmes County (Bonifay, FL)

Next up, the Seahawks play the Malone Tigers (Malone, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Franklin County will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 84-53 non-league loss to Rehobeth (Dothan, AL).
