Garces Memorial Rams (Bakersfield, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA), 75-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Garces Memorial upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Rams travel to South (Bakersfield, CA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 10-3. South won 57-40 in their recent non-league bout against Mira Monte (Bakersfield, CA)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Mira Monte Lions (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 57-40 non-league loss to South (Bakersfield, CA).
