The Lindenwold Lions basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Gateway Regional Gators to 38 in the Lions league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gloucester County Tech for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Lindenwold will meet a team coming off a 46-41 non-league loss to Deptford (Deptford, NJ). The record now stands at 0-1.

The Gators (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against LEAP Academy (Camden, NJ). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, LEAP Academy was outscored by Glassboro (Glassboro, NJ), 87-44, in a non-league contest.
