Hewitt-Trussville Huskies (Trussville, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hillcrest Patriots (Tuscaloosa, AL), 44-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hewitt-Trussville upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Huskies host Tuscaloosa County (Northport, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 14-1. Tuscaloosa County won 60-41 in their recent non-league bout against Pelham (Pelham, AL)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 2-8 record after their 53-33 league loss to Buckhorn (New Market, AL).
