Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM), 56-48 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 5-3 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Thoreau (Thoreau, NM) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, December 16. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 3-4. Thoreau won 68-62 in their recent non-league bout against Whitehorse (Montezuma Creek, UT)

Next up, the Thunderbirds play the Whitehorse Raiders (Montezuma Creek, UT) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Zuni will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Raiders come into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 68-62 non-league loss to Thoreau (Thoreau, NM).
