The Prairie View Buffalos basketball team (La Cygne, KS), was toppled 61-41 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS)

The Mustangs now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Scott for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 3. Iola will confront a Tigers team coming off a 45-41 non-league loss to Chanute (Chanute, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-3.

The Buffalos (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Burlington (Burlington, KS). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Burlington beat Wellsville (Wellsville, KS), 61-58, in a non-league battle.
