Mountain View Thunder (Vancouver, WA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Kelso Hilanders (Kelso, WA), 52-41 in a league bout.

With the win, Mountain View upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Thunder travel to Weed (Weed, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Weed lost 55-45 in their recent non-league bout against Reno (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Hilanders play the Capital Cougars (Olympia, WA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Kelso will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 76-34 non-league win over Shelton (Shelton, WA).
