Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Long Branch Green Wave (Long Branch, NJ), 60-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Red Bank Regional upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Bucs travel to Colts Neck (Colts Neck, NJ) to clash with the Cougars in a Shore A - Central bout on Thursday, December 22. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Green Wave clash with the Rumson-Fair Haven Bulldogs (Rumson, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Long Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
