Westbrook Christian Warriors (Rainbow City, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL), 63-60 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Westbrook Christian upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Ohatchee (Ohatchee, AL) to play the Indians in a 3A Area 12 bout on Friday, December 16. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Bremen Blue Devils (Bremen, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
