Sacred Heart Academy Irish (Mt. Pleasant, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vestaburg Wolverines (Vestaburg, MI), 62-33 in a league bout.

With the win, Sacred Heart Academy upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Irish host Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI) to play the Huskies in a Mid-State bout on Saturday, December 17. The Huskies go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Wolverines play the Coleman Comets (Coleman, MI) in a Mid-State bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Vestaburg will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record.
