The Wellington Skyrockets basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Saint Jo Panthers to 50 in the Skyrockets non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Skyrockets now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Happy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20.

The Panthers (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Borden County (Gail, TX). The Coyotes enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Borden County was defeated by Sundown (Sundown, TX), 56-42, in a non-league contest.
