New York High School Basketball - Westfield topped by Southwestern

The Southwestern Trojans basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Westfield Wolverines to 42 in the Trojans non-league victory on Thursday.
The Trojans now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Timon-St. Jude for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Southwestern will battle a Tigers team coming off a 73-69 league loss to Canisius (Buffalo, NY). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
The Wolverines (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Fredonia (Fredonia, NY). The Hillbillies enter the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Fredonia overcame Global Concepts (Lackawanna, NY), 56-38, in a non-league match.
