New Jersey High School Basketball - Westfield can't hold off Union

The Union Farmers basketball team scored 48 points and restricted the host Westfield Blue Devils to 45 in the Farmers league victory on Thursday.
The Farmers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elizabeth for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Union will battle a Minutemen team coming off a 41-38 non-league loss to St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ). The Minutemen record now stands at 0-1.
The Blue Devils (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Vikings come into the Mountain Valley - Mountain contest with a 0-0 record.
