In Thursday's non-league outing, the Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) basketball squad nipped the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), by a margin of 42-41.
The Patriots (5-1) will now prepare for their outing against Annandale (Annandale, VA). The Atoms go into the District 3 outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Annandale was tipped by Hayfield (Alexandria, VA), 74-55, in a non-league outing.
