Sylmar Spartans (Sylmar, CA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Canoga Park Hunters (Canoga Park, CA), 61-9 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sylmar upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Reseda (Reseda, CA) to play the Regents in a Valley Mission bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Regents come into the bout with a record of 2-7. Reseda lost 69-29 in their recent league bout against Kennedy (Granada Hills, CA)

Next up, the Hunters play the Van Nuys Wolves (Van Nuys, CA) in a Valley Mission bout, on Monday, January 9. Canoga Park will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
