The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roanoke Catholic for a non-league battle on Friday, December 16. Eastern Montgomery will battle a Celtics team coming off a 73-19 non-league loss to Carroll County (Hillsville, VA). The Celtics record now stands at 1-5.

The Spartans (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Grayson County (Independence, VA). The Blue Devils come into the Mountain Empire battle with a 2-3 record. In their last battle, Grayson County was routed by Fort Chiswell (Max Meadows, VA), 67-49, in a league battle.
