With the victory, River Ridge/Scales Mound improves its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to West Carroll (Savanna, IL) to confront the Thunder in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 17. The Thunder come into the challenge with a record of 3-8.

Next up, the Cougars confront the Milledgeville Missiles (Milledgeville, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini - South challenge, on Friday, January 6. Eastland will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record.
