The Faith Baptist Contenders topped the host The Palmdale Aerospace Academy Griffins basketball team by a final score of 41-23 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Contenders face the Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 16. Faith Baptist will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Pioneers enter the game with a 3-3 record after their 67-34 non-league loss to Chaminade (West Hills, CA).

With the defeat, The Palmdale Aerospace Academy moves to 2-6 on the year. The Griffins host Vasquez (Acton, CA) to face the Mustangs in a Heritage game on Tuesday, January 3. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 5-4. Vasquez won 38-20 in their recent league game against Desert Christian (Lancaster, CA)
