Franklinton Demons (Franklinton, LA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Varnado Wildcats (Angie, LA), 67-10 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Franklinton upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Demons host Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 4-5.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Mt. Hermon Yellowjackets (Mt. Hermon, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 16. Varnado will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 56-30 non-league loss to Slaughter Community Charter (Slaughter, LA).
