The Petoskey Northmen basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the visiting Gaylord Blue Devils to 34 in the Northmen league victory on Thursday.

The Northmen now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Byron Center for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Petoskey will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 54-34 league win over Christian (Grand Rapids, MI). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-3.

The Blue Devils (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Lake City (Lake City, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Lake City prevailed over Pine River Area (Leroy, MI), 50-27, in a league contest.
