In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Horseshoe Bend Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 32-30 triumph over the Gem State Adventist Academy Jaguars.
In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Riverstone International Otters (Boise, ID) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 4. Horseshoe Bend will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
With the defeat, Gem State Adventist Academy moves to 2-6 on the year. The Jaguars host Wilder (Wilder, ID) to meet the Wildcats in a 1A Western Idaho match on Tuesday, January 3. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 5-4.
