Holy Martyrs Armenian Armens (Encino, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Oakwood Owls (North Hollywood, CA), 53-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Holy Martyrs Armenian upgrades its record to 8-3 on the season. The Armens travel to California Academy of Math & Science (Carson, CA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Owls play the Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 27. Oakwood will attempt to upgrade on its 6-5 season record.
