The Prairie View Buffalos (La Cygne, KS) basketball knocked off the host Iola Mustangs (Iola, KS), 39-29 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Buffalos (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Anderson County (Garnett, KS). The Bulldogs go into the Pioneer test with a 2-2 record.
The Mustangs now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Scott for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 3. Iola will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 53-32 non-league win over Chanute (Chanute, KS). The Tigers record now stands at 5-0.
