Lathrop Mules (Lathrop, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Plattsburg Tigers (Plattsburg, MO), 58-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Lathrop upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Mules host Gallatin (Gallatin, MO) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Sunday, December 18. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Gallatin lost 55-44 in their recent league bout against Princeton (Princeton, MO)

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Highland Cougars (Ewing, MO) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Plattsburg will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-0 record after their 42-36 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA).
