The Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR) basketball crushed the visiting McKenzie Eagles (Finn Rock, OR), 49-17 in Thursday's league test.
The Lakers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Crow (Eugene, OR). The Cougars go into the 1A Mountain West outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Crow smashed Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR), 26-23, in a non-league outing.
The Eagles now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to North Clackamas Christian for a non-league outing on Friday, December 16. McKenzie will clash with a Saints squad coming off a 31-13 non-league win over Mitchell/Spray/Wheeler (Mitchell, OR). The Saints record now stands at 3-2.
