The North Community Polars basketball team (Minneapolis, MN), was toppled 57-37 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN)
The Lakers now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Robbinsdale Armstrong for a AAAA Section 6 battle on Friday, December 16. Minneapolis Southwest will confront a Falcons team coming off a 44-38 non-league loss to Blaine (Blaine, MN). The Falcons record now stands at 3-3.
The Polars (2-4) will now prepare for their battle against Watertown-Mayer (Watertown, MN). The Royals come into the non-league battle with a 2-3 record.
