The South Brunswick Vikings basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Monroe Township Falcons to 49 in the Vikings league triumph on Thursday.

The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piscataway for a Greater Middlesex - Red contest on Saturday, December 17.

The Falcons (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ). The Knights enter the Greater Middlesex - Red contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Old Bridge ran past East Brunswick (East Brunswick, NJ), 53-52, in a league contest.
