The Strath Haven Panthers (Wallingford, PA) basketball knocked off the visiting Penncrest Lions (Media, PA), 50-42 in Thursday's league test.

The Panthers (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Springfield (Springfield, PA). The Cougars go into the Central test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Springfield went down by Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA), 49-41, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Harriton for a Central test on Tuesday, December 20. Penncrest will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 54-46 league loss to Radnor (Radnor, PA). The Rams record now stands at 1-4.
