Yorktown Patriots (Arlington, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 70-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Yorktown upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Patriots host Herndon (Herndon, VA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Generals play the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Washington-Liberty will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Seahawks go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 57-52 non-league win over Herndon (Herndon, VA).
