South Carolina High School Basketball - Airport topped by Brookland-Cayce

The Brookland-Cayce Bearcats basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Airport Eagles to 45 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Friday.

The Bearcats now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Central for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Brookland-Cayce will battle a Knights team coming off a 73-68 league loss to York Prep (Rock Hill, SC). The Knights record now stands at 2-4.

The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against River Bluff (Lexington, SC). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, River Bluff prevailed over Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC), 81-50, in a non-league contest.
