The Alpena Wildcats basketball team (Alpena, MI), dropped 66-58 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Gaylord Blue Devils (Gaylord, MI)

The Blue Devils now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Elk Rapids for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Gaylord will battle a Elks team coming off a 46-37 league loss to St. Francis (Traverse City, MI). The Elks record now stands at 1-6.

The Wildcats (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Cedarville (Cedarville, MI). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Cedarville prevailed over St. Mary (Lake Leelanau, MI), 60-49, in a non-league battle.
