Anniston Bulldogs (Anniston, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Piedmont Bulldogs (Piedmont, AL), 47-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Anniston upgrades its record to 7-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Donoho (Anniston, AL) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-6.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 20. Piedmont will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 67-64 league loss to Talladega County Central (Talladega, AL).
