North Carolina High School Basketball - Montgomery Central overwhelmed by Anson

The Montgomery Central Timberwolves basketball team (Troy, NC), was routed 90-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Anson Bearcats (Wadesboro, NC)

The Bearcats now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Stanly for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Anson will battle a Rowdy Rebel Bulls team coming off a 56-53 non-league win over West Stanly (Oakboro, NC). The Rowdy Rebel Bulls record now stands at 7-0.

The Timberwolves (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Southern Lee (Sanford, NC). The Cavaliers come into the non-league battle with a 8-1 record. In their last battle, Southern Lee trounced Scotland (Laurinburg, NC), 65-47, in a league battle.
