Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY), 53-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Menifee County upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Berea (Berea, KY) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 16. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Berea lost 62-58 in their recent non-league bout against Belfry (Belfry, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Bracken County Polar Bears (Brooksville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 18. Bath County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Polar Bears go into the bout with a 0-10 record after their 74-37 non-league loss to Dixie Heights (Edgewood, KY).
